So apparently my good buddy Andrew is ROLLING IN THE PEEPS. By peeps I OF COURSE mean visitors to his site. He’s got like eighty members now. CRAZY! Good for him! He should include me more!

I posted an ad on craigslist under “toys and games” a couple weeks ago, selling my video games, and I got two responses since. Both were asking for Halo 3. Today I posted an ad for the same thing in the electronics section and got someone five minutes later who wants to buy fifty dollars worth of my games. Hot dog. Gotta know how to work the system.
Wacom tablet, here I come!

The Wacom tablet thing hasn’t panned out thus far. Time for old Leo to hit the ol’ job listings like a… sack… of… potential employees. Man. I could sure go for a sack full of potential employees right now.

It would appear that the deadline for the collab is not for a long time, so I decided I shall make two more toons of equal or shorter length. And I’ll take my time on these ones. Maybe wait for the tablet. Depends on what the exact deadline is when they decide it.
I’m starting a sketchbook! I was talking to somebody on Newgrounds, and they recommended that I do just that! So I’m doing just that! I hope he’s happy. Hmph.
I edited it up for standalone viewing! Check it out!
I had some trouble with the masking, but as always, England Prevails!
Also, bitmap tracing in flash is awesome! It gives any picture you want a cool effect!

I just spent the last couple hours on my ten second cartoon, and now it is complete! Celebrate with me! Hooray!
I’ve sent it to the head of the project and I’ll link it up when the full collab is done!
Good day.
I was just accepted for a part in a collab on Newgrounds! I started work immediately after I heard. It’s a collaboration of fifteen artists, each with a two to ten second piece that is completely random. It’s called the randomness collab, naturally. Seems like as good a place as any to start my career on newgrounds.
I was playing piano really loudly for about half an hour. It was fun, but I was kinda dizzy afterwards. Now I’m better though. Crisis averted.
So I want a Wacom Tablet! The exact same one I just linked to, in fact!
Like I previously said, my drawing skills aren’t really “good.” Especially when I have to draw with a mouse all the time. It’s not very easy. Or fun.
But with the unbelievable power of the Wacom Bamboo™ I’ll be able to make all my wildest dreams come true!
Last night, I spent about five hours looking at drawing tutorials on newgrounds.com. Every last one of them recommended getting a Wacom tablet. So I’ll succumb to peer pressure. Cause I’m cool. Really, guys.
Since I’m still paying off my ipod, I’m going to have to get money some other way. Then I’ll spring for the cheapest tablet (the one I linked to) and see if I like it.
Also, whenever I put in a link on here, I have to go into the html tab and switch #mce_temp_url# with the actual url title. It’s really annoying.
Lastly, I’m writing the Leo Vader theme song, and It’s coming along very nicely.
Love!
Today, I was fed up with the BDPE for not battling me again after they said that I should expect it! So I picked up my home phone, called my cell phone, picked up my cell phone, said “hello?”, picked up my home phone, said “hello, is this Leo?”, picked up my cell phone, said “yes,” then I picked up my home phone and issued myself a challenge.
“You, Leo Vader, must go down to McDonalds and double the octomac!”
“The sixteenomac? It can’t be done!”
“Find a way, my child. And may the force be with you.”
And I did find a way!
Mommy. I’m scared.
I ate about half of it before I could stand no more. I swear I saw it bubbling, like some kind of… witches brew.
DELICIOUS!
So that’s my story. It’s full of both sadness and woe alike. And although it was only a “sixteenomac babies” (because it was made of dollar menu burgers), I’m proud of what I did here today. And I hope I’ll be remembered for generations to come.
