Cloning Big Boss.
Got called up for battle again! By the BDPE. Very exciting. I don’t think I communicated my joy very well though.
I was simply told to clone the father of video games, Big Boss.
I decided to try doing it by magic first. But I couldn’t find my wizard hat, so I took out my brothers old box of magic stuff.
Then I tried science.
You can’t really see it, but Big Boss is in there.
Then I tried taping him to futuristic-looking objects in my house.
Then I took him to the mad scientist haven that is underneath my stairs and hit it with a hammer.
It worked!
I was like “that was fast” so we just hung out for the rest of the hour.
Here’s him writing his first sonata.
Here’s him playing with the tools.
Here’s him wearing a silly hat.
Here’s him being weirded out by my puppet Senor Pains sexual advances.
And here’s him all tuckered out.
And that was our day together! We had such fun. Friends til the end.
Just a couple a’ cuties!
BLAKE SMART
Fathers’ day.
Yeah!
It sure has been a while since these traces. I’ll try to get back to doing them fairly often, but it won’t be as much as during the school year. I’m home a lot less this summer and have fewer chances to work on this stuff. I will, though! I enjoy it very much.
Sam Snow has been updating his site pretty consistently with some really cool stuff. Check that out.
Anders’ Game.
Two months in the making, our long awaited film has finally been released! The long break between shootings was good for it in the end, because it gave us time to really think about the script and how to make it make any kind of sense. Starring Stevie Ray Yanez as Anders, and also starring Ben Cannon, Manton Minnick, Sam Snow, and me. We truly hope you enjoy it.
Getting pumped to fight some aliens.
My good buddy Andrew Hanrahan! He has a website of his own, which is here and in the partner sites thingy to the right.
Adventure Game Three!
First promise I’ve ever followed through on? Quite possibly. Click the image to play.
EDIT: This game is also up on newgrounds, where it passed the judgement stage (it had to be rated at least 1.60) by .01. Since then, it’s dropped down to about a 1.10 (out of five) with mostly negative reviews. But thanks to the newgrounds revenue thing, I’ve made five cents off those a-holes. So I’m marking that down as a win for Leo Vader.
